A porch swing or chair and a nice glass of lemonade. That is what we think of when reminiscing about the "front porch". Today, farmers porches have so many applications for use. As long as you keep the style of house in mind, the possibilities are endless. Sometimes it's nice to have a place to sit in the shade on a hot summer day. But it is just as nice to have UPS drop your packages under cover! When you think about how much snow we have gotten in recent years, it is also a great entryway without dragging snow in with you. There is not one thing better for curb appeal than a well built farmers porch. It just brings us back to the simpler things in life, when life wasn't so demanding, and time was something to waste on the front porch.
