Whether you have an idea what you are looking for or no idea at all, we are here to help. We will design the space you dream of. Whether the space is an extention of your  home, or an outdoor space such as a farmer's porch or deck, we listen to what your needs and wants are.

Construction can be very scary for homeowners. It is our job to make it less scary and more exciting. Making sure the project gets done in a timely fashion is a key ingredient. Also, being there to go over anything you may have questions about is another.

Below you will find tips on picking the right contractor for you. These are just some guidelines to protect yourself and the biggest investment of your life. Whether you choose to hire our company or not, we hope that you will at least take a moment and jot down some of these suggestions.

#1  Ask for an insurance certificate. A company must be registered with the state to obtain insurance.

#2 Ask for references. Be sure to call the references. Also, ask if you can go to see the work yourself. Most people will allow this and it will give you further information.

#3 Ask the references about the timeline that they were told. Was the timeline close? Did, for instance, the contractor say that it would take about 2 weeks and it took 2 months.

#4 Be sure to ask for a payment schedule. Most reputable companies will not ask for money up front until lumber is on site. For bigger projects, it is usually 1/3 after lumber is delivered, 1/3 after a certain portion of the job is completed, and 1/3 at completion. For smaller projects it is usually 1/2 at lumber delivery and 1/2 at completion. This protects you and the contractor. Be sure to stick to the payment schedule. No matter what the reasons.

#5 Be sure to have a written contract outling all work to be done. Again, this protects you and the contractor.
